Why This?
I’ve always held a fascination for these industrious little creatures. Social creatures of all kinds are interesting but there is some special about an animal so tiny which has such varied and sophisticated behaviors. They are farmers, warriors, thieves, hunter/gatherers and more.
Designing and trying to build antfarms of various shapes and sizes is also intriguing to me. It’s a simple thing and yet, there are a few simple factors that create complicated problems.
Macro photography is REALLY fun and interesting and amazingly difficult to pull off without spending hundreds of dollars. Watch as I struggle and fail. I am sure I will make an investment soon that will simplify things.
